Kidney Stones

Today Danny and I took a ride to the new hospital. We had been working around the house this holiday weekend. Putting sod around the front sidewalk, hanging solar screens on the covered patio etc.. and Danny started to have lower back pain. The pain just kept getting worse and worse that he finally agreed to let me take him to the hospital. They put him on an IV and started pumping pain killers into him. I have never seen him in so much pain before. They did a CT scan and sure enough it was a kidney stone. They gave us prescriptions and told him to drink lots of water and that he should pass it eventually. While we were in the ER, there was a soft knock at the door and the door opened and it was Stacey. The Ponder Fire Department was transporting an accident victim and she just wanted to stop by and check on Danny.(Thank you Stacey) We are planning a family cookout and movie watching day tomorrow with the kids for the holiday and hopefully Danny will have a much better day.
