We went to the local racetrack for July 4th. Danny raced the funny car. We watched a lot of good racing and then enjoyed the fireworks at the track. It was nice and hot (101 degrees) but we found some shade and enjoy a good old fashioned cheeseburger. Lee made a platform for a top of a school bus for one of Danny's racing buddies. It got finished on Saturday about 3:oo pm and they drove it to the racetrack to give it a try. It was the best seat in the house from what I hear.
