View from the deck at our cabin of the mountainsI will have to do this post in several parts. I took so many pictures that I want to share with everyone. We left Sunday morning at 5 am and drove to our cabin in Ruidoso, NM. We met Connie and Garry there. Lee invited his friend Josh to go with us too. We had a great time skiing, snowboarding, eating, gambling, shopping and just sitting around visiting. Connie, Danny, Lee and Josh had a gingerbread house building contest. Garry and I were the judges. Guess who won?
Was the competition only based on look or was taste also a consideration?

Look only. We were afraid we would get sick if we attempted to eat them. It was 40 degrees the first day we skied on the mountain, but it was 50 degrees the second day and the boys didnt need there coats. It was great. It did get down in the teens at night but warmed nicely during the day.
