Lee coming in for a short breakHere are a few pictures of Lee, Josh, and my self up on the mountain. We go to Ski Apache to do our snowboarding and skiing. There is no lodging on the mountain, so we stay in Ruidoso and its a 12 mile , narrow and winding, ride up the mountain. There was 4 inches of fresh snow on Monday night, so snowboarding was fantastic for the boys on Wednesday.
how far of a drive is ruidoso from your part of texas and how adventurous are you all on the slopes?
ReplyDeleteRuidoso is about a 10 hour drive for us or 580 miles. It is about 1/2 way to meet G&G Ward that includeds skiing. Lee does all the runs including black. I do mostly greens but have done a blue. I dont like to fall.
ReplyDeletei don't like to fall either. kathi bought a helmet a few years back because it kept her head warmer than a cap. the first day out with it she bit it hard, needless to say i bought myself a helmet immediately after that.
