Mountians around Flagstaff, AZDan and I took a road trip for our Christmas vacation. We went to Phoenix, AZ to see Dans folks. We went to Las Vegas and onto San Diego for a couple of days each. We ended up driving 3300 miles in 10 days. We were so ready to be home and out of the car. The weather did not corporate with us at all. We drove through snow in Gallup, NM on our way to Phoenix. Las Vegas was cool, but we didn't care since we were in the casinos all the time. San Diego was cold and rainy. We didn't get to go whale watching because of gale force winds. We did walk down to the beach a few times. I so loved hearing the waves, but wished we could of walked on the beach. Over all we had a great time and have decided that we will have to give San Diego another try someday when its nice and sunny. Then on the way home we ran into snow in El Paso, TX. I do have some great pictures to share. I will do a few each day. "Thank you Connie & Garry for being such wonderful hosts"
