We have had two snow days (or should we say ice days) in a row and its looking like another one tomorrow. We started out Monday night with thunder, lighting, and alot of rain. Tuesday morning the rain turned to ice to sleet to snow. So there is a layer of ice on all of our roads. Then today we woke to no electricity. They were doing 15 minute rolling blackouts and ours turn out to be over 2 hours. We were worried about our pool. It didn't take long for it to get a thin layer of ice on the top with it being 9 degrees out. Danny and Lee got our generator out and got a heater on the pool pump and made me a nice pot of coffee. Now that was thinking!! The above picture is of a fountain in Grapevine,TX. I thought it look really cool. Wish us luck, its suppose to be 8 degrees here tonight and more snow on Friday.
