SKUNKED

The Texas Rangers are playing the St Louis Cardinals in the World Series. The teams are really evenly matched. Rangers are up 3 to 2 and they play tonight in St Louis. GO RANGERS!! So as to why my title is SKUNKED....We went out back to take a 7 th inning stretch during Monday nights game and Hannah, our white lab, got sprayed by a skunk. It was unlike anything I have ever smelled. Danny said its like someone burning tires and then tried to put it out with rotten onion water. Hmmm...I cant say that I've ever smelled that, but it was bad. We washed her in peroxide, Dawn dish washing soap and baking soda. That's what the vet and internet said to use. It really did help, but our house still stinks. I've aired it out for days. We now close the gate around the pool and keep the dogs close to the house at dusk.
